This cute, historic 1920s home with bay windows is located in Nauvoo at 1555 Knight Street, just 3 ½ blocks from the temple! (See a map.) The home was remodeled in 2002 and 2003 and includes wall-to-wall carpeting, central heat and air conditioning and new exterior siding. The home features a comfortable old-fashioned parlor, with a queen-size sofa sleeper and TV/VCR. The modernized kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, and table for four. The home has two bedrooms, with queen-size beds in each room. With the sofa sleeper in the parlor, this home will comfortably sleep six. The bathroom includes a shower/tub combination, vanity, and vinyl flooring, and is accessed from the kitchen. A washer and dryer are also available on the back porch.

The large yard provides plenty of room for a family get-together, or for kids to play. A half block away is the Nauvoo Grammar School with a playground for kids and basketball hoops to shoot baskets. Most yards in Nauvoo are not fenced, and it is very open. The home is just a couple blocks from the post office, and the main street, Mulholland, close to shops, including antique stores, bookstores, gift shops, and more! The gas station, grocery store, ice cream parlor, bakery, and restaurants are within walking distance of the home. Because of zoning in Nauvoo, this home is only available for monthly rental.
